Many of our team give their time for free because they want survivors of rape and sexual abuse to get the services they need and deserve. Even so, we still need to find £220,000 a year to fund our services. The majority of this comes from trusts, local and national government and the agencies who send clients to us. But this still leaves around £40,000 needed from generous individuals.

£220,000 may seem a lot and it is when you are trying to raise it! But to put it in context, it is roughly equivalent to the costs to Society of just three rapes (Home Office figures).

This compares to the 300 or so referrals we have in a year for counselling; the 8,000+ calls, texts and e-mails to our helplines; and the 5,000 children attending preventative workshops in schools.
