There are opportunities to volunteer at one of Lifecentre’s centres and, for some tasks, from home (providing you have access to a computer and the internet). Possibilities include helping to staff the office in busy periods; helping with fundraising research, applications, reporting; helping with administration.
There are also opportunities to volunteer as a counsellor (assuming you have the relevant qualifications) or to help with our schools’ work or to train as a telephone helpline volunteer. Our volunteers undergo intensive training, and courses are generally run once a year. All volunteers are carefully vetted and we reserve the right not to offer volunteering opportunities to people applying who may not be suitable.
